AGEX Financial is a specialty financial services firm focused primarily on facilitating Small Business Administration Loans (SBA) through Community Banks. AGEX Financial’s unique approach provides a completely outsourced solution which allows Community Banks to successfully participate in the SBA loan participation programs. In short, we become the bank’s SBA department. We currently provide these services to five community banks located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. AGEX Financial was formed by David Light. Mr. Light has over seven years of specialized government lending experience. Before starting AGEX Financial, Mr. Light held the position of Loan Manager with the Bucks County Economic Development Corporation; Commercial Lending Officer at National Penn Bank; and Vice President and Business Development Officer at Preferred Capital. He is considered an expert in the field of government lending programs and has taught classes for professional organizations and non-profits.
Mr. Light earned a BA in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and a MS in Economics from Lehigh University. He sits on the board of Admin Partners located in Haddonfield, NJ and is the Treasurer of the Lehigh Valley World Trade Club. Additionally, Mr. Light is a member of the American Economic Association and The Latin American Research Association.
